Had a whole side of salmon in the freezer that we got for over Xmas if we were fed up with turkey. Salmon & gnocchi last night, salmon risotto tonight and probably salmon & pasta tomorrow.
There's light at the end of the tunnel and the future's looking very bright indeed.

Just had these but I still hanker for fish n chips from Scarbados or Whitby but these are an acceptable substitute ( just ) meant to say with white bread & butter ( real butter not that spread stuff ) can’t beat a chip butty :D

It's been a while for me since I had Yorkshire fish n chips but I consider Nottngham's Cods' Scallops to be on a par. They do fry in dripping and use top quality ingredients.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

We're having pork chops. green beans, mash and gravy tonight.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Nice leg of lamb tonight roast potatoes, cabbage, swede, peas, Yorkshire puddings, gravy, mint sauce & red currant jelly.

Her indoors still in hospital. Need something quick and easy. Got a piece of fillet steak (4 minutes each side) plus chips, sprouts and peas. Chips and veg out of the freezer.
Gravy granules and glass of red (screw cap). - Job done!
