Had a whole side of salmon in the freezer that we got for over Xmas if we were fed up with turkey. Salmon & gnocchi last night, salmon risotto tonight and probably salmon & pasta tomorrow.
There's light at the end of the tunnel and the future's looking very bright indeed.

Just had these but I still hanker for fish n chips from Scarbados or Whitby but these are an acceptable substitute ( just ) meant to say with white bread & butter ( real butter not that spread stuff ) can’t beat a chip buttyNottinghamWhite wrote:Fish & chips from the chippy with the obligatory mushy peas & curry sauce.

It's been a while for me since I had Yorkshire fish n chips but I consider Nottngham's Cods' Scallops to be on a par. They do fry in dripping and use top quality ingredients.NottinghamWhite wrote:Just had these but I still hanker for fish n chips from Scarbados or Whitby but these are an acceptable substitute ( just ) meant to say with white bread & butter ( real butter not that spread stuff ) can’t beat a chip buttyNottinghamWhite wrote:Fish & chips from the chippy with the obligatory mushy peas & curry sauce.
