Let’s see who the forum believe is our best team ever. Starting with goalkeeper. The poll will run for 3 days then it’s on to left back.

In my time watching Leeds i would go with Nigel Martyn who helped bring on Leeds next best keeper in Robbo. Never got to see Sprake or Harvey but didn't one of them get accused of cheating?

It's a close run thing between Harvey and Martyn got me and Nigel won out.

It was Gary Sprake that became an outcast after basically pointing an accusing finger against Don Revie and Leeds around match fixing

David Seaman ... as a kid I had a conversation with Allan Clarke prior to him getting sacked and he raved about him, explaining the board was forcing him to sell lukic and that would fund Kevin Sheedy from Liverpool and peter Reid.

I have voted for Martyn ... although Harvey was good both times.

One challenge is how to accommodate Paul Madeley as an option. He’s not associated with any particular position, but he was central to the success of the Revie team, and he played nearly every game. Maybe you could make him an option in a few positions?

Or just declare him an automatic choice, and draw lots every game to see what position he will play! :D
