Superstition

Post by Davycc »

Last season around February I changed my Avatar to one of MB holding up a pint outside the "Premiership Return" pub (a play on his resemblence to Jack Duckworth) after that, well we all know what happened. I still have the avatar but refuse to use it, I've never been superstitious but I am now with this one thing.

Anything you guys are superstitious about?

PS. I'll used it WHEN we are confirmed as promoted.

I always go in the same entrance at Elland Road, even if the queues are smaller at other entrances I can use.

I didn't know you did that Kev! I do the same! If I go across with Nigel he always nips into the first he comes to and can't understand why I keep going!

I always have to have a cuppa in a LUFC mug on the morning of a game - white mug if we’re at home, blue one if we’re away...

I have a lucky mask bought on a holiday to Sri Lanka whose nose and ears I rub on each match day! :)

Yes mate, number 30. I’ve generally lost Nigel coming down the hill from the White Hart

My most recent superstition is to turn the volume down when the other team have a corner / free kick in a dangerous area and turn it back up if we don't concede..

I also leave a little bit of headroom volume wise for if we need a goal...

I'm fully aware how ridiculous all of this is!
