That would put is in a very strong situation. I'm not sure how much the wage bill will rise but I imagine it may come close to double?
Either way we may have more cash than we think we do for transfers after we subtract the players we buy after loan ?

As an aside I don't think it a great idea to advertise because we will get rooted in negotiations :D

On what the squad needs I think we all know.
1 goalkeeper
2 centre halves
2 centre mids
1 top striker at the very minimum.

goalkeepers: just not Joe Hart. I would keep Meslier as Number 1 over him. He is shot to bits

Centre halves; If we have serious cash and can compete I think we make a statement and sign Upamacano from Leipzig. The kid is a beast and best centre back in the world in his age bracket(20) and its not close. (If Ben White is a no go, but my preference is still Dayot)

This will sound like a strange one but I want to sign Nathan Collins from stoke as back up. The scum tried to sign him in January. Irish centre half,18 6ft 3 ball playing centre half who loves defending and super high ceiling

Eduoard from Celtic as I have said before.

Centre mid I really like the look of the kid from zagreb,Gojak who we have been interested in for 2 years now. He is def on the Orta master list. Another one from out of left field and may be way off but I think Spurs will have some players in and out with mourinho and I would look into Harry Winks. Can a loan to buy be done or a staggered payment? He is not a mourinho player and has bielsa written all over him in my opinion. Mourinho wants specialist players and Bielsa is the opposite. He could potentially play 4 positions. This transfer may not be possible either but anyway, that is my dream transfer window.

Young Players I would also just love to see at leeds:

Kenneth Taylor : I watched him play for the Dutch under age a few times now and he is classy as hell. can do anything with a ball but keeps it very simple and stays within himself alot. reminds me of Mcphail with his cultured left boot. Could play anywhere in the midfield including DM but maybe short on height.

Mo Ihattaren : Another dutch wonderkid but I think he ends up at barca or somewhere within the next year or 2. :D

Jayson Molumby: a weird one maybe but from Brighton (on Loan at Millwall this year) Was tipped as Ireland best prospect 5 years ago. Was about to break into Brightons first team at 16 but got injured twice and was out for 18 months. Got a best player award this summer at the Toulon tournament, Is captain of Ireland's best under 21 team in maybe ever and has been excellent for Millwall. Will be a full international in a matter of months when the first Ireland squad comes out. High energy and will press like a maniac. Has absolutely smashed his comeback and the boy just always looks hungry. He would fit in well but I reckon he is in Brighton's plans next year like White.
Cracking post, are these players you’ve gained knowledge of/researched yourself ?

I actually think its not such a bad deal if the price tag stays, but signing him right away will surely help him feel more secure with his place in the club .

Id actually like around 6 new signings:

GK: First send casilla out and bring a second keeper in. I like messlier he did good whenever called upon. Haven't spotted an error by him yet. I would like to give him a chance as first choice.

CB: If Ben White is an option sign him! plus another CB as a backup. Still love kyle bartley, but to be honest that Upamacano guy corkleedsmot mentioned sounds amazing for bielsa's squad

LB: a first choice LB (maybe rose?) Alioski and dallas can be 2nd &3rd and also play on left winf (dallas can play right and even middle sometimes imo)

DM: if BW stays i think it might be Bielsa's plan to train him to take KP's place. He has what it takes, just has to get used to it and understand his role there. I also like the idea of players that are able to play couple of positions and cover for each other. If BW does not stay we need a backup (someone who knows KP is first choice!)
If millner is a real option than he will be a great player to back up philips and also improve his game

Creative MF: id like us to keep hernandez for another season if he's up to it but we definitely have to think of the future and also for times when pablo gets injured.

CF: i love bamford but the guy is frustrating. I think with bielsa's method he is better off as a target man who pulls the defender away for a goal scorer to face goal. Maybe timo pukki or Joshua king. To be clear i want some one to play along bamford not someone to replace him.

Yeah just all players I watched and liked. Only 2 of those have Leeds links though. When Leeds are in league one/championship and Ireland turned into a pub team you need to find outlets to watch football that is watchable too :D
I am having my best football year x10 this year. Ireland looks like it has a potential golden gen coming through. we had hoped for a couple of years these lads would all get through and its been insane this year. our whole under 21 team and even some 19's and 17's getting prem debuts and being championship regulars. 4 Irish teenage strikers making prem debuts in one year is nuts for us. As an Irish Leeds fan the last 15 years has been spectacularly depressing. Oh and I'm not sure anyone here has heard the news.... LEEDS ARE PREMIER LEAGUE :D :D :D

Most important signing - Bielsa for next season. He’s so unpredictable I am slightly concerned.

Watched a lot of German football recently until ours started up.
One player who I noticed would be an asset to any club, Wolfburg right back Kevin Mbabu, Swiss national.
This young player was actually on the books at Newcastle, but they released him.
This player is the best throw in guy I've ever seen. In first half of one game alone he threw 12 consecutive throws to Wolfsburg players who got clean possession, 3 of which ended up as passes into the penalty area. You think of how many throw ins become 50/50 balls and possession wasted. He also does the long throw into the penalty area.
His ground game is good, distribution and crosses especially, crosses right on the 6 yard line. Follows game plan.
His only weakness is when opponent runs at him with ball, tackle or put opponent under pressure. He has ability, needs to be taught commit or not.

He is sometimes very awkward looking defensively and does rely on his athleticism a bit too much, probably a habit of learning to play always being more athletic than his opponents and not coached out of it, like when he is given time to think he freezes a bit. but when he is bombing forward does look great and actually has a really great right foot. You kind of expect his crosses to be like Antonio Valencia the way he plays but actually are more like Denis Irwin, It catches the eye alright. Was he a DM when he was in Switzerland too by any chance? pretty sure he was. Right back and left back are the easiest positions to play and coach so I think there probably is value in him., though he is the sort of player you would want to coach for the 2 years Bielsa had in the Championship and have him ready for PL rather than buying him for PL.

I think Dayot Upamecano is definitely outside of our price and pulling range. If he leaves Leipzig, it'll be to a traditional big club, and not one that has just been promoted; regardless of our history.

I agree with Aqua's comment on Bamford. He strikes me as someone who would be a good linkup striker, to a goal scoring wide forward - like Benzema with Ronaldo.

This is why I'd love to see Ollie Watkins in a Leeds shirt. In fact I'd love to see a list of players we could raid from the Championship - for me it'd be a selection of Eze and Chair from QPR, Grant from 'Udders, any/all of BMW, and maybe Louie Sibley from Derby. I know we're unlikely to go after any of these but imagine what Bielsa could do with them...

Ordinarily I agree but having listened to what Kinnear is saying, They are top 1/3 in terms of revenue already and their goal is champions league etc and they know they have to invest to do that.
I'm like OK Angus this is what I would like haha. but I was also thinking we could get the price knocked down closer to 40 for him with the situation with Augustin and paying over 3-4 years.
Leeds are coming after White hard it seems and not deterred by 30 mill. this would be money better spent. A centre half for the next 10 years. I don't think I have ever seen a better centre half at 20 ? scary
The WInks idea might actually have legs, at least n Sky sports they are saying WInks might be outs. Anyway after watching portuguese European championship winners move to the championship I dont regard anything as impossible.

Hated it when it happened to us but the relegated sides will lose their better players. I'm kind of hoping we go in for Lewis Cook (even if somehow B'mouth survive), while Watford have some good players as well as Villa. Not really sure about Norwich!

And I totally agree with you Leo about Watkins and Eze. I'd even go for Jansson if he's matured.
