Joined the forum today and just thought I'd drop a line on here by way of introduction.
I've been lurking around for a while now and it's a great forum so I thought it was time to join the fold. I'm a lifelong Leeds fan (going back to the Revie era) so I'm pretty accustomed to the joys - as well as the pain and suffering - of being a Leeds fan.
I look forward to meeting you all online.
All the best,
Westminster

Once again welcome there’s a lot of Revie Boys on this site, including myself. I started going in the mid 60’s my best season was 1969-70 where I missed very few games home or away. Enjoy the site.

Re: Westminster
Thanks again, NW and Barlow Boy.
One of my happiest memories as a kid is the '72 Cup Final and that iconic header by Alan Clarke.
Plenty of painful memories too, of course, not least Sunderland in the '73 Final and, of course, Paris '75 - a match that remains burned into my psyche and so vividly demonstrated to me that life really isn't fair.
Then there was that semi against Man U in '77 - which I think was actually an important (though largely unacknowledged) landmark in British social history, at least in terms of youth and popular culture. But I'll make a separate post about that sometime.
