Liz Peck (Pecky 10)

Post by Barlow Boy »

Hi All,

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to let members know that Liz sadly passed away earlier this week.

I’ve met Liz several times before games, she was the most lovely lady to be around, would do anything for anyone and had a great sense of humour. I’m personally devastated and shocked by the news.

Our thoughts are with the family at this time.

Regards

Was devastated to hear of this earlier didn’t want to post anything in case it wasn’t true. Liz was an exceptional poster on this forum. I classed her as a friend having met her several times. We shared a love of Peter James, a Brighton based author. If I may suggest we as a forum have a small collection to pay for some flowers.

R.I.P. Liz.

Never met Liz but remember her from been a regular member of this forum always doing intelligent and thoughtful posts.

A couple of years back when I was doing a holiday on Ireland despite not really knowing me she took the trouble to send me lots of useful and interesting information about the area we were staying for part of the trip. Says a lot about a person when they voluntarily help others in my view.

Total genuine person that I'm sure will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

RIP - Liz

RIP Liz

I was lucky enough to meet her back in 2013 when her and DLW arranged a meet up in the Pavilion with me on my trip to the UK, spent a few hours there talking to her and other Leeds fans.

Was a lovely lady and a sad loss to those who knew her.

So sad to hear about this. I just received a message from Pockwhite.
We used to meet up at the Pav before games and once gave me a ticket for a game and would not take any money in return only a pint.

A very knowledgeable and sincere lady.

R.I.P with the others up there.

I remember Pecky’s posts which were always very knowledgeable. I know she was a well respected member of this community. A sad day in the forums history.

Such terrible news. Pecky was the first person on the forum who I added as a friend. She was to set up a lighting display in the then new Titanic Centre and we discussed some places she should visit. Always a great poster. RIP Liz.
