Liz Peck (Pecky 10)
Re: Liz Peck (Pecky 10)
Not long after I joined the site I had a number of PM's from 'Pecky' which were very welcoming and helpful. Never had the pleasure of meeting her but can readily identify with all the good things posted by those who did. RIP Liz.
I once played against Don Revie.

She was a fantastic and knowledgeable poster. This is awful to hear. My condolences to everyone who knew her personally. RIP Liz.

Very sad news. I remember her posts well. Always worth reading and she seemed like a genuinely good person. RIP Pecky.

Re: Liz Peck (Pecky 10)
So saddened by this news.
Liz was the first forum member that I ever had personal contact with. She arranged for me to meet her and other forum members in the pavilion for a pre match beverage quite a few years ago. I still meet up with these people on my infrequent visits to Elland Road and consider them as friends, and that's all thanks to Liz.
I found her to be a warm, generous and very talented lady. A couple of years ago I posted about a promotion I had achieved at work and even though she no longer posted on the forum, she still found the time to send me a private message of congratulations.
RIP Liz, you'll be missed. A shining light to everyone that met her (pun intended).

Just wanted to say how saddened I was to hear this news from Kev (BB) earlier today.
I had the pleasure of meeting Liz on many occasions, shared several drinks with her and sat with her at a couple of games.
She very kindly sorted me (and John +15) out with tickets several times.
We had many interesting, thought provoking and entertaining chats, she was a bright and bubbly lady.
RIP Liz, you will be sadly missed.
Sincere condolences to Bogdan aswell, although we have lost touch I always enjoyed our times together, take care pal.

Very sad to hear this news, even though I never met Liz.
As others have said her posts were well-informed and highly readable.
I remember in our moment of need (in 2013) she was one who offered fantastic support.
I saw her picture - Facebook possibly - so it's tragic to hear of someone's passing at a young age.
RIP Liz

Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Re: Liz Peck (Pecky 10)
After posting above I did a bit more investigating.
Tragically Liz was only 46; she'd had major heart surgery as a teenager. She was highly respected in her industry and a forum reported that she had recently been very active in delivering food parcels to the needy.
Just doesn't seem right....

Somewhat belatedly I’m raising a glass to Liz. A sad day for the forum. I had many PM’s with her telling her she was missed on here & this thread just shows that maybe I was right. God bless Liz a lovely lady.
Cheers.
