I don’t think we are in trouble or anything, far from it, but we do need to get another player or two before the window slams shut to challenge for a starting xi spot.
A right footed wide player to rotate with Harrison and another central mid. If we can get a Noa Lang and some one from France for the mid if prices or drop or worse case Lewis O’Brien.
Rodrigo aside the bench looks weak, and we are carrying passengers such as Cooper in the starting XI.

I'm not sure I'd call Cooper a passenger. He gives it his all and to be fair he's stepped his peformance up enough to legitimately be called a Premier league player, albeit a lower end one. He's solid enough 90% of the time but of course he's prone to some bad errors and rash decisions sometimes. I do think Struik and Llorente are first choice and he's a squad player when everyone is available.

Definitely agree with the need for a midfielder, preferably a more creative one.

Maybe passenger is a bit harsh and comes across as knee jerky but he really is 4th choice and should be as such in Bielsa’s plans.
I have the unease with him in the lineup similar to when Alioski started.

Poveda to Blackburn on loan, according to Sky.
Still don't need another winger?

Summerville I believe is ready to take Poveda’s spot, but we still need to upgrade on Costa. Ideally this window, but more likely the next.

Summerville only got 2nd half for U23's today so suspect he will feature tomoz against Crewe.

Agree with CMW think he's probably overtaken Poveda in the pecking order.

I like Poveda a real box of tricks but often with no end product. Maybe a make or break spell at Championship level and a run of games is what he needs.

Agree though Summerville is on a big upward curve so hope he solves the need to sign. Looking forward to seeing him at senior level when his chance comes.

Poveda would frustrate me several times in a match, the lad has pace to burn along with a lot of trickery (too much at times) but he always left me feeling disappointed.

Poveda to Blackburn, on a season long loan, now confirmed.
