Doesn't fill me with confidence if that fact is "most notably", Scum were terrible during that time despite having a billion pounds worth of talent at their disposal.NottinghamWhite wrote: Armas is a former USA International midfielder with 66 caps. Re: Welcome Jesse Marsch
It's a fair point and no doubt there will be some frothing at the mouth going on with some Leeds fans' hatred for Scum, but TBF it's irrelevant anyway, just as Scum are

Re: Welcome Jesse Marsch
Memo to Jesse Marsch:
Whilst you are learning the ropes as a Head Coach in the Premiership the first and easiest lesson to sign off is to engage your brain before shooting from the lip!
Whether Thomas Tuchel is banned from the touchline or not following his shenanigans with Antonio Conte last week is nowt to do with LUFC or it's Head Coach. Getting involved with that and commenting just invites unnecessary aggro and there is nothing to be gained from it.
There is a time for being blunt and forthright and there is a time to say nothing, be non committal or sidestep an issue. Get that right and the media battle will be mostly won.

Yep. Very disappointed when I saw JM comment on that.PhoenixUnited wrote: ↑20 Aug 2022, 08:49...last week is nowt to do with LUFC or it's Head Coach. Getting involved with that and commenting just invites unnecessary aggro and there is nothing to be gained from it...

Re: Welcome Jesse Marsch
Care to divulge or is it a secret?
Re: Welcome Jesse Marsch
You can see it here:
https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/s ... -touchline
I dont see any problem. Marsch thinks rules shall be be followed. If you get a red card you miss the next game.
A lot of the times we complain about rules being different for top clubs. The underlying thing here is that Marsch takes a stance against different rules for different people, that doesn’t deserve criticism.
I see Phoenix says that whether Thomas Tuchel is banned from the touchline or not following his shenanigans with Antonio Conte last week is nowt to do with LUFC or it's Head Coach.
I think that is a very wrong take on it, as this is very much something we are involved in. We are facing Chelsea the one match Tuchel is supposed to miss, how does that have nothing to do with us??

Re: Welcome Jesse Marsch
Just a personal opinion, I don't believe he should have said that he'll be disappointed if Tuchel is there tomorrow. Fellow pro and all that.
