I know there's not many fans of soul, funk, disco, house, dance, hip hop or anything that isn't "rock" of some sort, but I'm particularly chuffed with this mix:

I took a bunch of remixes that I'd been listening to - mainly by Todd Terje and Dimitri From Paris - and threw them all together and it just worked. There's Chic, Sister Sledge, Roxy Music, etc all in a big ole melting pot o' soul
Just great music.....

Has to be said, quite often when I'm at home working on something I have Riggers 'stuff' in the background...

I wont bore you with the circumstances, but in a Leeds United related discussion I had cause to look up the "Sounds of Silence" lyrics and in doing so found this version to which I am now hooked...can't stop playing it!

Re: Just great music.....
Watched Jeff Lynne's ELO at Hyde Park last month on the BBC i player this morning as missed it last night on BBC4 at 10pm.
Was a wonderful concert although it was only one hour 25 mins long, but all the hits were featured and even the travelling wibury's Handle me with care as well.
It was Jeff's as ELO 1st concert in 28 years, i hope he has got the message and tries to make peace with the old band members and the go out and tour.

Rigger, I see you included 'dance'. Were you thinking of Victor Sylvester?rigger wrote:I know there's not many fans of soul, funk, disco, house, dance, hip hop or anything that isn't "rock" of some sort, but I'm particularly chuffed with this mix:

I once played against Don Revie.
