I saw Everton at Saints a couple of weeks ago and you're right, they were absolutely woeful.

It was like none of them were fussed, you know ?
I mean, one or two players might not give 100% in a game for whatever reason: personal problems, worrying about a niggle, wary of a suspension if picking up a card, etc., but on this occasion it was a collective coast.

The only player who looked like he gave a s**t was Ross Barkley and he was shoved out on the left flank to accommodate Eto'o who did absolutely sod all for 90mins.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: rigger, you are very good at football tactics. I like that formation because I think it puts our best players on the field. I'm not sold on young Taylor as a week in, week out left back, but I'm all for giving the lad a shot, and the rest seem to be the best of what we have. Cook maybe for Murphy or Mowatt as needed.

I'd love to see this formation and find out what these players can do on the pitch together.
