Cardiff away changes (south wales police)

Post by cardiffcityfc »

Hi Guys!!

Been browsing the match talk seems to be some confusion

It was my understanding that you would be aloud to travel how and when you wanted with tickets in hand..
But over the weekend south wales police has instructed a rv point (Which was only for fans traveling on coaches but now for all traveling fans) A ticket exchange is now in place so you will only get a voucher when purchasing your tickets.

The rv point and tickets exchange will be the normal services station

So fans traveling via the train will have some distance to travel to swap the vouchers for tickets. This is a real shame as we have handled , Chelsea , spurs Man u all with-out these restrictions in place real shame hope it don`t spoil the numbers you bring

Hope it not the case but im 90% sure it is

As posted in the other thread - my ticket has been received so it cannot be a bubble game!

Yes you are correct

scarp my last post can now confirm that this is not a vouchers exchange following a meeting today with police and leeds united only coaches will be involved in a escort tickets will be sent out in the post like any other away game..

enjoy the game!! all thos traveling via train will no doubt be escorted into the great western pub on the corner of central station or walkabout

Hope this goes trouble free

Been getting a lot of them recently, they take a post seemingly at random and re-post it in another randomly chosen thread, often resurrecting conversations from about 3 years ago. Normally they have a weird one word signature too (like 'sultan'). I just don't understand what the point is. I can only assume they're testing it for something else...
