I'm trying to memorise a pack of cards and I have a name and an image for each card. These are the images for my hearts cards. Can you tell me the names?
Ace - A bill sticker
2 - A baker
3 - A hoover
4 - A flower
5 - A Norman Knight
6 - A man drinking alcohol (too hard)
7 - A medic (too hard)
8 - Someone whitewashing a wall
9 -A blacksmith
10 - A laughing man
J - A cliff
Q - A man rowing (too hard)
K - A man counting change (hard)
Edit : I've just realised that some of them are too hard and might not make sense - I've marked them. If you get the easy ones and you are over 60 then the others will fall into place.

Sorry, Billy. I haven't the faintest idea what you're going on about. What sort of names have you given them? Are the names actually related to the cards? Could you give us a clue? I've just finished being assessed for a job I've been training for for the last 6 months so I might be a bit shot away. Maybe that's why I don't understand.
Re: My deck of cards
A deck of cards? Like a Yugioh deck? Blue Eyes White Dragon? Is he in there? Dark Magician? The Forbidden One (or at least one part of him)?

The idea is that I associate a person and an action with a card. All my suits are linked to teams and if I want to remember the 5 of Spades then I know that my spades are Leeds and I know that Jack Charlton is the no.5 in my Leeds team so I just remember Jack Charlton. It is a bit more complicated than this because I try and remember 3 cards at a time and I link those 3 cards to a place in a journey around my house. For example, if the first three cards are 9S, QS and 8S if will see in my mind Mick Jones (9S) soaping up (Qs) Allan Clarke on my front porch. I've got to go somewhere now but I will explain it properly later.

I have read all these posts and the only one I understand is Riggers.rigger wrote:
