Home games I car share with my daughter & tend to travel by train to most away games (use very cheap advance tickets).rigger wrote:You must hammer your car, mate
That said I still do about 13k miles per annum with about 10k of that travelling to Leeds games.
Just to say myself & the other Phil (NW) have very similar backgrounds.

Hi I'm a bit late finding this. My name is Steve I'm 58 and I grew up in Meanwood (NW leeds). Moved to Thailand about 10yrs ago to try and retire from teaching and lasted about six months before I went back to work and am now Headmaster at private school.

you all wouldn't believe how many leeds fans are here. i've met leeds fans in new orleans, chicago, new york, miami, had a guy give me a leeds salute whilst wearing my strongbow kit in the cleveland airport. really hope one day when things are better the club can do a preseason tour here.

My name is Alex born in Glasgow in 1963 stayed their till Nov 1973 then moved to Forfar, became a Leeds fan in the late 60's and have followed Leeds ever since.
Finally achieved my ambition of going to ER in October 2012 and after nearly 40 years of watching Forfar Athletic decided time was right to get a season ticket at ER for the 13-14 season and got one for the season just finished.
I have been back in Forfar for 2 weeks after 5 months in Yorkshire, but hope to return to Yorkshire sooner rather than later if i can get the right job.
