I was going to go really obscure as my favorite lyric of all time is "I'm going to see the Bootleg Beatles, Dressed as the bootleg Mark Chapman" from When the evening sun goes down by Half Man Half Biscuit.

All this stuff's too mainstream for my taste. If I posted even a James Brown or Marvin Gaye lyric I'm not sure many on here would get it, and as for annotating a Coltrane horn line ... I'll get me coat
