Wow! League 2 really threw many of us to the wind!
(You can study the tables as much as you want sometimes, but the results will still be something of a law unto themselves!)

(FYI: I am trying to clarify and reduce confusion with LPS, so I haved decided to call each new game a GAME instead of a round, and each new 'turn' a Round!!!
- So we are now in GAME 3 and we have just completed Round 2.)


NB: (I have also tried to clarify the rules about byes and colour coding, in the rules below. I think there may still be anomolies, but I think they are the same for everyone. If you think you have found one, just let me know.)

????Anyone any good ideas or able to donate some fun prizes at the end of the season for the overall winners and runners up?????

GAME 3 - Round 3: You are selecting a team from The Premiership from this weekend's games, including any on Friday or Sunday. (21st to 23rd inclusive)

Just a reminder of the rules:

* Players should select 1 team from the league and/or games specified.
* Only 1 person 1 team, if your first choice has gone, then you have to pick a different team.
* If one team from a game has already been taken, the opposing team can still be chosen.
* In the event of their being a tie or stalemate at the end of the round, because some people are just so
good at this , then tougher challenges will be given, to find a winner!
* The winner will be The Last Person Standing!
* Points for the Champions League are awarded as: 5 for 1st; 3 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd.
(Hopefully there might be fun prizes at the end of the season!!! )


BYES
* Each player has one bye at the start of each new GAME, there will also be bonus rounds whenever possible so that extra byes can be won.

* Byes will be used in the event of:
* If you miss a Round it will cost you 2 byes
* If your team loses it will cost you 2 byes.
* If your team draws, it will cost you 1 bye.
* If you do not have enough byes, then your team must win for you to stay in the game.

Colour coding:
Green - You can still survive with a draw.
Blue - You have to win to stay in the game.
Red - You are out of the game.

I don't want to promise anything completely but I'm working on making personalised beer/coffee mats at the moment - plan is to engrave an emblem and some sort of text. If I can solve a few hitches they'll play MOT and flash blue, yellow and white lights when you lift your pint/mug. Ideal to annoy any unfortunate mates who support lesser teams

If they work out I'll happily donate a couple and engrave them accordingly.

Believe me after a few years of teaching, this is a doddle!
The paperwork in teaching is all about including everything except the proverbial kitchen sink; and double and quadruple 'dotting the i's' and 'crossing the t's' !!! ...........And they wonder why many teachers burn out after 5 years!!
