Video Jukebox! LUFC
Re: Video Jukebox! LUFC
Bloody hell, Vid, you're not my ex wife are you? Me and her bonded over those blues songs (not much else, mind). And she had the Lily soundtrack album.

You would be concerned if i said yes Sniffer. You should be thankful you bonded over such great music A quick look through my other half's small cd collection when i met her revealed amongst other dross, PJ & Duncan. I knew at that point i was in safe hands.Sniffer wrote:Bloody hell, Vid, you're not my ex wife are you? Me and her bonded over those blues songs (not much else, mind). Re: Video Jukebox! LUFC
I got in to Blues through John Mayall's Bluesbreakers (the Beano album with Eric Clapton) when I was about 16, and through Fleetwood Mac one memorable night in Minehead. None of my contemporaries had heard of John Mayall and they all thought Fleetwood Mac meant Buckingham and Nicks. My wife to be was a few years older than me. She was precocious and picked up on the British Blues boom as a 10 year old and I was an eldest child teaching myself about music in chronological order from the 50's onward. My current squeeze is more pop-orientated which irritated the hell out of me when we were seeing each other 30-odd years ago but I've mellowed a bit since then. We've just got back from seeing Plan B at Bristol's Colston Hall. It was ... erm ... Bangin'!Viduka Hits The Mark wrote:You would be concerned if i said yes Sniffer.
