Given the length of times he's been out i would suggest Glandular Fever or something similar.

No - that's why I said so.... but being Leeds United I wouldn't rule out our star striker, being involved in an underage sex case, a racist attack in the city centre or and Isis cell in North Yorkshire!

I'd have him on the bench at most. He'll be not match fit and could pull up again if he's rushed back. I think he should play around 60 mins in an u21 game beforehand.

I wouldn't be surprised if Massimo is disillusioned with Chris' less-than-convincing performance for us in front of goal. Maybe he wants to keep him off the pitch and preserve any residual reputation he may have had as a striker prior to coming to Leeds then off-load him in the summer for the best price he can get.
Having said that, I do believe Mr. Cellino when he says he doesn't interfere in team affairs
