Is the answer to #8 9 over 100?

I think this is Place Value - HTU to decimals, so the underlined figure in number 8 would be 9 units - does that ring any bells with him?

The one after the decimal point would be tenths as you say.

The number 182.62 would be:

1 hundred - 100
8 tens - 80
2 units - 2
6 tenths - 6/10
2 hundredths - 2/100
