Re: The departed
RIP to those who have recently lost their lives in the NZ volcano explosion.
Back in 2018 i was on the same cruise (and same ship) but thankfully we did not go near Mt White where the active volcano went off this time. Thoughts are with their families and friends and to the ones who are in hospital right now.

Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.

Re: The departed
Very sad, always seemed a really good and entertaining bloke, I always liked seeing him on the telly even when a bairn. There's a kind of Leeds link too as he was friends with Les Cocker and they played golf together a few times over the years in 'celeb' tournaments etc. Thought he came across really well in the quite recent series Last Laugh in Vegas too. Re: The departed
I once played golf in a corporate day at Shooters Hill course in Kent. Kenny Lynch was the after dinner speaker. During the evening the host, who knew I lived in Maidenhead, asked if I could give Kenny a lift home. Kenny lived in Henley. I agreed and the journey took about an hour and a half. I told Kenny that I would take him to his home in Henley but he insisted on being dropped at Maidenhead train station where he could get a train to Henley. During the journey to Maidenhead we had a really good chat. A lot being about National Service which we had both done. A really nice guy and very sad to hear the news.
I once played against Don Revie.

Nice story that. R.I.P and respect. Gone but the evil will never be forgotten.
I recently watched on the BBC (Lost Home Movies of Nazi Germany) really did bring it home how brutal the Germans were to the Jewish and other ethnic groups.
