Another interesting character who's headstone caught my attention whilst out walking the dog in Layton Cemetery. As a Cricketer, Cricket fan it doesn't come much better than having your name immortalised on that famous of all Cricket trophies. The Ashes Urn. He was also a football referee. Anyway resurrected for the day.

The England players must be gutted but were putting a brave face on it saying "well we knew the rules from the beginning etc." The organisers definitely took their eye off the ball on this on. It really is shame but hopefully they'll sort it out for next time :roll: :crazy:

Shame India have collapsed way too one sided imho. A crowd of 80000+ is exceptional though.

It won't be mourned down here if it doesn't go ahead, NW. Our nearest team isn't even in the same country let alone the same county.

Looks like there won't be a county championship this season. To be honest I'll be surprised if the season starts at all!
Owners come and go but Leeds United will be there forever, for the fans - keep Marching on Together.
