When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.

Following this at the moment and i think if stokes can keep a partner to defend while he hits the ball around they can do it. If resilience is called for then it is now. They have to be patient because they have today and tomorrow to do it. come on England. wish i could view this rather than follow it on the BBC sports page.Barlow Boy wrote:When Root went I thought that was it, but Bairstow and Stokes doing well here.NottinghamWhite wrote:Come on England we can do this..

What the blazes was Root doing playing a shot like that?
How the blazes do you have a run-out when the priority is to 'stay in'.

they gotta play the ones and two game until they bring in the fielders once again. Sometimes the tactics of the bowlers can be their own undoing if England can be smart enough. At the end of the day Stokes is the senior man out there so he must dictate what game they are to play. Be patient and they can win this and if they win this they will win the ashes back simple as that. A loss for Australia today would destroy their confidence after such a big advantage.

Delighted for England to overcome such a huge deficit and overcome adversity especially with an Australian team with such a historic lead. Now England can believe,...... Advantage England, Ashes to come home once again after this win. momentum will surely swing in England's favor. Don't you just love sports that give us these epic moments. Well done Stokes and also to Leach putting on a fine performance for a 76 last stand partnership.
