Agree about the hundred.
It’s meant to be accessible and easy to understand, but I have literally no idea what the graphics are saying, the commentary is awful, there’s no team I have any connection to, and the whole thing reeks of a committee of older people who think that neon graphics and crisp sponsors are hip and groovy.

Real cricket returns today in the form of a Test match vs India. I wonder what all these new fans who watch the hundred will make of it. There will be new terminology for them such as an over.

The England openers outscored 'Extras' today which must be some sort of record?

It was just good to watch some real cricket yesterday despite the poor showing from England. I love watching Virat Kohli he’s so full on yet he’s definitely Marmite. Joe Root became England’s all time leading run scorer. Looking forward to a day in front of the TV, weather permitting.

England's regular failing. Can't get tailenders out. Last three India batsmen make 48 which contributes to a lead of nearly 100.

Rain saved us. I think India would have got the runs, they definitely won 'on points'.

If you had known that 8 of our batsmen would average a score of 9 you wouldn't have had a bet on a first innings lead! :o
