Brilliant start to the day with England grabbing all 4 wickets early doors. South Africa made to follow on.

The U19 World Cup is taking place in South Africa at the moment which will feature Yorkshire’s Harry Duke & George Hill, not seen much of either of them so hopefully get to see them in the morning. Our group consists of West Indies, Nigeria & Australia. My prediction is for Afghanistan to win the cup.

I’ve just read that Joe Root will be available for at least the first five Championship games this coming season.

A recording of the members forum from t’other night for anyone interested.

https://bbc.in/2GWNGfN

Bullet points
* Joe Root hopefully available for 5 Championship games needs ECB approval
* Jonny Bairstow possibly available after his stint in the IPL
* Adil Rashid to be offered a new contract possibly only for the t20
* Finances seem to be well in order according to Mark Arthur
* Steve Patterson stepping down as t20 captain, no decision as yet who will take over
* Patto unhappy about the asymmetrical nature of the Championship fixtures
