Played once for Switzerland back in 2011. Is he first choice RB or cover for Byram ?

Roque Junior and Thomas Brolin were supposed world class internationals, its no guarentee.

Also we could be looking at it from the wrong direction, the 2 year maybe down to Beradi and thats the time he is giving us to get to the Prem and wont commit to longer until he sees how we do.

Like Si says, he might be ok at Left Back, he can also play Right Midfield. You are right again, having international experience is no guarantee a player will be top quality, but for me it's a good yard stick. Like you say also, he might have only wanted a 2 year contract, I never thought about that.
