Benedicic has a knee injury and has no chance of being involved. Aidan White is also out, along with Charlie Taylor who's had knee surgery.

From Milanic's press conference, no new absences ahead of tomorrow's game. Benedicic, White, Walters all missing. #lufc
On Benedicic, it sounds like he might be heading for knee surgery - though that will most likely be AC Milan's decision. #lufc
I think we're going to end up sending Benedicic back, I doubt he'd make more than 10-15 appearances this season anyway.

He's not the only one, Del Fabro, Ajose and maybe Montenegro, won't play that much, unless they show great form in training.
We are Leeds, we have to believe our new players are good enough, encourage and support them and help them grow in to a team to be reckoned with. MoT

Wouldn't be surprised to see Del Fabro starting alongside Cooper in two or three games time considering both our first choice centre backs are currently on 4 yellows.
I''ve a sneaking feeling its only a matter of time until Montenegro forces his way into the team on merit.

Montenegro couldnt show much better form! He's scored 4 in 4 for the B team, hasn't he?

According to Tim Vickery (S America football pundit) he's a more interesting and high-potential signing than Adryan.

Ajose yes, sure, prob needs to go back to League 1 although hard to say. Del Fabro - I would have thought he was signed because he's likely to develop into a Premier League-class defender (which Jason Pearce probably isnt - hope I'm wrong).

Bianchi is back in training and:
Redfearn also revealed the young striker Lewis Walters - promote to the first-team squad this season - is stepping up his rehabilitation after being out with a knee problem since late July.

But Aidy White is still some way away from a return with the utility man sidelined since being stretchered off with a broken metatarsal in the pre-season friendly at Chesterfield on July 26.

Redfearn added: “Aidy is still ongoing and Lewis Walters is not too far away and he is back running now and his rehab has been stepped up.

“So hopefully in days, rather than weeks, we can get Lewis back in and around training.

“Aidy will be a little bit longer.”

Leeds United: Benedicic set for rehabilitation after surgery on knee injury
Leeds United midfielder Zan Benedicic has undergone surgery on a knee injury and will return to England to begin his rehabilitation next week.

Benedicic - on loan at Leeds from AC Milan - travelled to Belgium for a specialist operation on damaged meniscus, his agent confirmed to the YEP.

The 19-year-old has been nursing the injury for almost two months and is unlikely to be fit until the second half of the season.

United signed him on a year-long loan from Milan in August but the Slovenian youngster has played only twice since moving to Elland Road.

His agent, Amir Ruznic, said: “It’s not serious but I don’t know how long he’ll be out. I think he’ll be back in Leeds next week.”

Benedicic’s career has been affected by previous knee injuries and United boss Neil Redfearn said: “He’s been between surgeons for a while. It was important to make sure he got the right treatment.

“He’s had knee injuries before and he’s only young so he needed to get the right care.”

Warnock has a pulled hamstring. No timescale on length of absence yet. #lufc

#lufc So at least Stephen Warnock has not damaged his hamstring. Important player this season so that's a bonus.

Stephen Warnock @StephenWarnock3
· Dec 13
Poor result and poor performance today. Not pulled my hamstring I wasn't feeling well during the game and got dehydrated and cramped up.

#lufc Had a chat with Aidy White today who still has a protective boot on to help his metatarsal heal. Looks like it could be a while.
Bellusci still out but Rudy should be fit
Leeds United appear to have ruled Giuseppe Bellusci out of tomorrow’s clash with Nottingham Forest but Rodolph Austin could be passed fit to play at the City Ground.
Bellusci has missed training this week with the hamstring strain which kept him out of United’s defeats to Ipswich and Fulham, and head coach Neil Redfearn is unlikely to risk him at Forest.

But Austin took part in yesterday’s session at Thorp Arch and was due to be assessed again today with a view to travelling with Redfearn’s squad.

The Jamaican midfielder was troubled by an ankle injury last week and sat out of Leeds’ 1-0 defeat to Fulham after breaking down in the pre-match warm-up. Redfearn said: “Rudy joined in with training (yesterday) but we’ll have to see how he goes and whether he sees any reaction.
an important player for us. Both aren’t far off but we’ve got to be careful.”

“Giuseppe’s stayed with the physios and his hamstring has to be spot on before he plays. He’s an important player for us. Both aren’t far off but we’ve got to be careful.”

Redfearn says Warnock has "seemed fine" in training this week after limping off vs Fulham. #lufc

#lufc Not ruling out Bellusci or Austin completely. Warnock has trained this week and should be ok.
