Glorious sunshine on the south coast - not even much rain until yesterday for about three hours. Prior to that, the last couple of weeks have been wonderfully crisp, sunny days: cold, but not overly windy and actually really mild if you're stood directly in the sun.
On Christmas day, we were sitting on my south-facing balcony actually basking in it :D

No sign of snow here in Berkshire. Cold, frosty, but sunny with a blue sky.
I once played against Don Revie.

Warning that it may hit minus 10 here tonight. The frost didn't clear at all today.

No snow at all near Peterborough. Was bad driving back after the Wigan game and was 30MPH for the majority of the A1 home.

Funny that you haven't had snow in Rothwell, we had some on boxing day in Armley and it's stayed cold enough that there's still ice and snow in most gardensparks etc

Having broken my leg slipping over on ice/snow several years ago I'm very wary when it's like it is here in Nottingham at the moment. As NW said we had 2 inches on Boxing Day and since then perfect conditions for black ice. Consequently I haven't been out at all since the 26th. It's not helped by the fact that, for all their exorbitant council tax collections, Nottingham City Council grit neither the road or pavement where we live even though it's a through road.

Thank goodness for on-line grocery shopping!
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

My missus has a false leg and she hates this time of year. Any sign of snow or ice and she is stuck indoors until it clears. As she has no feeling under foot if she slips she's unlikely to be able to get up without help. :(
