However, on the face of it appears a good young and versatile player. Not sure I believe that price tag though Si :)
I don't think it's £1m up front, but in appearance related instalments and bonuses based on player and club performance - at least that's what the article last night said. :D

Another young player, a position of need, looks talented, this seems good!

He is a central defender....and can play at full back apparently! OK he is young and not the experienced head we maybe really need....but if he is good in the air he may just be the catalyst we need at the back to pull it together. I can't wait to see him. The way Donny are playing maybe he will get his baptism of fire up there next Tuesday - surely he wouldn't go straight into the side at Portman Road.....would he?

Good acquisition in my opinion. After (officially) losing Kisnorbo and Bromby we were very exposed in central defensive positions, particularly with Byram not being fit, which really puts Peltier back into his original RB position. Whether Wooton will become first choice or back-up, we needed a body to play centre half. To expect Lees & Pearce to go through 6 months injury/suspension free is unrealistic. Interestingly, McDermott made a comment this week that he felt Byram could play centre half as well! (when fit of course). Irrespective of whether you might consider Byram to be wasted in that position, that would solve our exposure to pace in the centre of defence!
We're on our way to....

His career reads: Tranmere-Liverpool-scum

He already knows about confrontation, so he'll enjoy his time at Leeds :)

Let's hope he gets off to a flyer, or else the lad could be on a hiding to nothing.

The right type of signing if we are building for next season.... One gripe, why another 3 yr deal that takes him to just after his 24 th birthday.
