Having problems with my hotmail account in as such I can't send any emails. Keeps telling me that my username or password is incorrect. The thing is neither are. Help...

It's happened before when we have been travelling but once we get home it's righted its self but this time it hasn't.

Hmmm ... very fishy, that.

Have you tried logging in on a different device ?
Yesterday, Yahoo mail wasn't playing ball for me on my desktop - I just kept getting an error screen while everything else was working fine, so I knew it wasn't my connection.
I switched from my usual browser of Chrome to the "ietab" (an Internet Explorer extension) but it still didn't work.
I really needed to reply to a particular email and found I could do it fine on my smartphone.

I've no idea what the problem was, but maybe it's worth a shot.
If you have two PCs, try the other one.
If you have more than one browser - IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc - use a different one.

If all that fails, try googling the problem - 99% of the time I fix pretty much everything that way :)

Cheers Rigger. If I go into outlook I can send emails which is fine but can't send them using the hotmail app on my iPad. That'll do for now.

Ugh :problem:

There's a reason I don't use Outlook :?

I prefer web-based mail and have had the same Yahoo account for twenty years now.

Have you tried the Outlook web app ??
Might be a good alternative ..

You normally need a specialist program to open them, but if they're online it may be because you're using Chrome and it no longer supports flash.

You can download various PDF viewers ..

Thanks for that. I have downloaded the reader, but I think it might be that I am using Opera. I will try a different reader.

Ah, yes probably then.
It's a while since I used Opera but I'm guessing it's the least well-supported of the major browsers.

There's a handy gadget for Chrome users called the IE-tab which allows users to switch to a "browser in a browser", utilising the format of the old Internet Explorer system. I use it to play an online pool game that I could no longer run on Chrome.
I don't know if Opera has anything similar in its list of extensions ??

Have just (on Sunday) upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 and, without wishing to tempt fate, so far so good. :shh:
