Our postie delivers around 3pm, that’s the first and only delivery of the day

In the last 4 weeks I've had to have a new clutch and a new exhaust. Cost more than the cars worth.Barlow Boy wrote:OuchSelby White wrote:4 new tyres, brake pads & a windscreen wiper, I'm skintSelby White wrote:Car in for MOT & Service today, not expecting a cheap one as suspect we need a couple of new tyres and looking at last years notes it'll be brake pads this year.

I had my car serviced the other week, main service. Cost me £369 but they found a problem, which is not urgent, involving the linkage. They said it will be OK until the next service but gave me an estimate: £1,360.Selby White wrote:4 new tyres, brake pads & a windscreen wiper, I'm skintSelby White wrote:Car in for MOT & Service today, not expecting a cheap one as suspect we need a couple of new tyres and looking at last years notes it'll be brake pads this year.
I once played against Don Revie.

We have such good neighbours that there is a round robin email system for keeping people advised. I advised them about our house sale by email yesterday and today, a lady from across the road came to say that they knew someone who is waiting for a house in the drive to become available. Hope it works out! The houses in our drive don't come up for sale very often.
