I like your style Sir John.
For some strange reason, for a fair headed, blue eyed bloke I very rarely get burned by the sun, it absolutely infuriates the Mrs who with brown hair and eyes comes out looking like a lobster. However, we went to the coast yesterday and it was scorching, to the point where I had to have a cold shower when I got home last night to ease a bit of burning on the back of my neck. It's still a bit tender today.
When you retire, you switch bosses - from the one that hired you, to the one that married you.

Getting ready for work - a 12 hour night turn. I just love shift work.
From 18 years old to 3 years ago I did shift work, earlys starting anytime from 4am. Did one week of night shifts in every four for 20 years. Now in a 9ish to 5ish Monday to Friday job and can actually enjoy weekends.
What I'm saying in a long winded way is I feel your pain mate.
