It sounds like a couple of you need carers, lads!

I once played against Don Revie.

Are you sure they said only 48 hrs?Barlow Boy wrote:Just back from our local minor injuries unit at the hospital, with the nurses rebuke ringing in my ears.
I split the webbing between my thumb and first index finger on Tuesday, after a pane of glass slid down it, only a small cut, nothing to worry about, I’ve been to the gym twice since doing it.
This morning, it looked to be getting a bit worse, so I rang them and was encouraged to go down there. The nurse took one look, and basically called me an absolute idiot for not going sooner. It’s now all neatly dressed with bandages, and a strict instruction to rest up for 48 hours.
My Mrs is just making me a nice cuppa now

I don’t think any longer would last with the Mrs, she’s just gone to get me a beer

Re: The blabla of the forum
A friend of mine was diagnosed with lung cancer a couple of months ago an is undergoing chemo at the moment and it seems to be working
He's a massive Wigan Athletic fan and follows them home and away, usually organising an away day coach.
He's just received a video message from Paul Jewel saying to keep fighting and "up the tics".
Good of him to find time for a fan of a club he used to manage. My mate's made up.

Things like this will take a couple of minutes for the club and Jewell, but mean the world to the recipient (me and my Mrs have been on the receiving end). Fair play to PJ, and the club.Wigan White wrote:A friend of mine was diagnosed with lung cancer a couple of months ago an is undergoing chemo at the moment and it seems to be working

Re: The blabla of the forum
This seems to be the easiest thread to stick my question in...
Mods, is there any way to change a username?
The underscore in my username has p'd me off from day 1 . I think I set it up that way because another (non Leeds) forum did not allow spaces in usernames and I joined here within a few days of that, so just copied it over... Any help much appreciated.
