Yes, I know, John. It must be the autistic side of me that has to point out the historical inaccuracies in such jokes. Perhaps my reply was meant as a joke. It depends how it is read I suppose.
Too sophisticated for me Sniffer. :D

Having navigated part of the M25 yesterday, I have come to the conclusion that in Germany there is a man with the most pointless job in the world. That man is the indicator fitter at BMW. He may have previously worked at Audi as well.

I am now officially my dad. I have just sat in my shed, the log burner on, fixing a lamp whilst watching the footy on Quest, dog at my feet.... and I have a perfectly good house to sit in.

That could be me. Except that I don't have a shed, nor a log burner, am hopeless at fixing lamps and and can't get footy on my computer or TV. Oh, and I have'n't got a dog either. :D

Nowt wrong with Asda wine, especially when it's 25% off on top of other discounts :D

To be fair to the good lady the dress is for a special occasion that's coming up and she isn't a big shopper normally.

Attended a golf charity match yesterday and played in a 4 ball. I haven't played in over 4 years so dusted my clubs off. I know remember why I stopped playing....I 'm crap. If I drove formula 1 cars like I played golf I'd be Barry Manilow.
