Just come in, been playing snooker. Had completed 'quick' crossword apart from 'Puzzle'. Had got R*B*S. So I guess REBUS is right.
The knee tablets seemed to do the trick on my wrist. A lot better today. Yesterday, I couldn't hold the snooker cue!

That's probably a pretty good exercise for it too, John.

I miss playing. Been about six or seven years for me, I think. We had three tables in the student union in a private room and only members or staff could play. I'd often go down there at lunch time and just play a frame alone, literally, with nobody else in the room.
So satisfying, just knocking the balls about the big table :)

My problem at snooker is my neck. Can't get my chin on the cue now which means I'm 'guessing' the angles when potting. Still got a good safety game though and can lay a good snooker! The days are long gone when I had my best break of 53, I am now more than happy to get a red and a black! :lol:

Ordered a cabinet from Argos for home delivery and it can be anytime from 7am.
Hence we got up early and have been patiently waiting.
