33 degrees at 1330hrs here in Leicester.
Have battened down the hatches and got the curtains drawn and lounging on my recliner with a long cold drink and a good book. The thought of any hot food is pulling me towards abstinence and pushing me to consider a refreshing salad. Er maybe

A couple of years ago the grandson had a sleep over with us & he can’t sleep without a fan on. We bought him one & it’s been in the attic since until……

35* here at the moment it’s like an oven outside, predicting it’ll hit 40* this afternoon.

37.5 in Leicester but it looks like this is it's peak here (not going any higher) according to the local forecast and will plummet to 23 degrees by midnight
