had the great pleasure in being invited to vinnies house some years back when he lived in redbourne[near hemel hempstead]...was a house party hosted by him and his wife...lovely house by the way and even lovier couple....no airs or graces with either of them when chatting to them...food and drink a plenty like ive never seen before..and yes we sampled most of it .....so thanx vinnie to you and your wife ...heres to a speedy recovery...get well soon

I was thinking about past Leeds players and remembered Michael Bridges. He was one player that started out brilliantly, showing so much promise, which sadly never came to fruition. He had some beautiful skills, but injury spoilt his promising career.
I was wondering about other players that started in the same way, but then it fizzled out for them, for one reason or another.

I used to love watching him play - it was so short lived sadly!
