He’s heading abroad I think, liked him when he played for us not sure if I’d want him back though. Ian Wright certainly rates him.

PONTUS JANSSON (30, defender, Brentford)

Brentford captain Jansson has been in superb form in his side's maiden Premier League campaign but is another whose contract runs out next summer.

The Sweden defender will still command a significant fee were he to leave in January, having started all 16 Premier League games so far.

Cracking goal by Aaron Lennon against Manure last night.
Different times but as I recall we had to let go of him to Spares for a pittance due to our parlous financial state. It's kind of a stupid thought but I do wonder "what if" we'd managed to keep a hold of some players a bit longer.....
