NEXT MANAGER?
Re: NEXT MANAGER?
Someone mentioned Steve Bruce the other day, is he not in the running?
Re: NEXT MANAGER?
Please no.
He'd sign Alex and make him captain
I'd be happy with Karanka.
The season Boro went up, they looked rock solid and we've not looked that since the days of Rio and Woody.
I'm sick and tired of giving away stupid goals through lapses in concentration, of constantly snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and of always - always !! - having to come from a goal down to secure a point, let alone three.
I'd rather win every bloody game 1-0 with a jammy last minute deflection of someone's bum than play another season of "exciting" football.
I just want to get out of this fuppin' division and Karanka can do that.

Karanka's done it before, I don't like Boro and I don't/didn't like their style under him, but he got them up. I THINK he'll be the new boss anyway but I wouldn't be unhappy due to his record in the Championship. We can worry about his lack of success in the Prem when we're there

Re: NEXT MANAGER?
Re Steve Bruce, I think I've mentioned it before. When he was at another club a few years ago, it might have been B'ham, pre-season he was in Scandinavia when LU were there too. He was in a bar and so were some Leeds fans, a few of my mates in fact. He took the banter well and is, apparently, a decent bloke despite his Scum connection Anyway, talk got on to Leeds & managing, we were possibly managerless or there was some more doubt about the position, and he said that he would absolutely love to manage us. He was doing well at the time too. I wouldn't want him here but I always find that interesting.
