I think we're the second lowest foulers too, ironically.

Re: In the Press
“When he returned to training after missing four early months of his first season at Leeds with damaged knee ligaments, Bamford scored an almost impossibly audacious volley in training. As the ball struck the back of the net the normally impassive Bielsa astonished everyone by raising his arms in celebration and running, rather stiffly, 40 yards to embrace the startled striker.”
It’s on Youtube, I love it

From the Telegraph

Leeds United players could be forgiven for playing with something to prove after being overlooked for their countries this season.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side contains some of the best performers statistically this season as they push for a top-10 finish, yet more than half the team that thrashed Burnley are uncapped at international level.
Roy Keane recently argued that a player getting a call-up from their country does not make them a top player anymore. “If you can trap the ball, you can play for your country these days,” said the Sky Sports pundit.
But Bielsa’s unsung heroes of the season are pushing for their first caps after their excellent first season back in the Premier League. These are their players battling for a first cap.
Jack Harrison
Man-of-the-match at Turf Moor with a backheel goal and two assists for Rodrigo Moreno, who is looking to cement a place at the Euros with Spain himself. Harrison, 24, has England Under-21 caps but has not been on Gareth Southgate’s radar while playing in the Championship and in MLS with New York City. Bielsa wants to make his loan from Manchester City a permanent deal. “For Leeds, it's very important to count on a player like Harrison,” said Bielsa. “He has a big growth throughout the campaign.” Assists and goals add up to 16 this season, the most of any English midfielder.
Luke Ayling
The Leeds skipper has been on Southgate’s radar this season but his trouble is the number of younger right-backs ahead of him. Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker and Reece James were in the last squad, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is pushing for a recall and Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been solid this campaign. Ayling has been consistently good all season. He wanders into central midfield like Joao Cancelo for Manchester City and has shown leadership qualities. He gets forward as much as any other right-back in the Premier League.
Patrick Bamford
Harry Kane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are the only Englishmen with more goals this season. It has been a campaign where Bamford has proved people wrong, having been accused of being a player who would fall short at the top level. He has shown an eye for a spectacular goal and has shown immense stamina to lead Bielsa’s attack. They can be a direct team, relying on Bamford to flick balls to team-mates before getting into the penalty area. He would be a good squad player for Southgate at the Euros.
Illan Meslier
The young goalkeeper has made mistakes this season but has shown huge potential. He must be among those looking to succeed Hugo Lloris when the France goalkeeper quits international football. In a 4-0 win, it showed how important he is that Meslier was one of Leeds’ most important performers. At 1-0 he saved with his feet when Matej Vydra raced through on goal. Later on he denied Jay Rodriguez from a similarly dangerous position.
Pascal Struijk
A Belgian-born centre-back who can also play for Holland and is showing good enough form for one of them to take notice for the World Cup qualifiers. He also qualifies to play for Indonesia but his level is higher. He can play in midfield but has been deployed for most of the season at centre-back following injuries to Diego Llorente and Robin Koch. He is a threat from set-pieces and has been an unsung hero for Bielsa’s team, quietly effective and rarely making mistakes.
Raphinha
Has played for Sporting Lisbon and Rennes but is yet to be capped for Brazil. At 24 there is time yet for the winger and his form this season suggests a country will soon come knocking. He has settled into Premier League life very quickly and has instantly been linked with Champions League clubs looking for a wide forward. Has a healthy return of six goals and eight assists this season following his £17 million move last October. Provided an assist for Mateusz Klich at the weekend when he opened the scoring.
