Just had mine. Large piece of fillet steak, salad pots, broccoli and peas. Glass of red. The piece of steak was quite big, was the only one the butcher had left. Cooked it medium/rare. Was absolutely gorgeous, should last me until tomorrow lunch time. Hope everyone else enjoys their meal.

Used Bovril for the gravy in the mince for the first time, worked a treat, will be using it from now on if I have no stock left over. Nice bottle of montepulciano d'abruzzo to wash it down.

We made beef stroganoff this afternoon, so will be served with Aunt Bessie's dumplings. I'll have to go and look in the wine cellar to decide which red we're having......
