Just put a sausage & apple casserole into the oven. All that's left to do is the mashed potato.

Went to the Golf Club today for my first round snooker match (won). Had some dinner while I was there so only a snack this evening. Chopped egg sandwich, packet of crisps and a glass of red, followed by a banana.
I once played against Don Revie.

Roast lamb with all the trimmings here today. It's rare these days we have a Sunday roast.

Have not got a clue. Safe to say it'll be nothing that takes a lot of prep.

That's why I like fillet steak Davy. Put all the veg in a pan, let it boil away, then waft the steak under the grill. Cheapo ''screw top' wine and hardly any effort involved.Davycc wrote:Have not got a clue. Safe to say it'll be nothing that takes a lot of prep.

My son and his wife are treating us to a Szechuan Chinese at a restaurant called Shanghai, Shanghai here in Notts. Daughter dear and her beau will be travelling down from Chesterfield to join us - snow permitting.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....
