Suspensions & injuries
What with Pontus on 9 yellow cards looks like he will soon be suspended for 2 games. Add that to Saiz, Cooper, O'Kane, Ekuban, Pennington & Shauhnessy do we have a problem looming ?

Think the problem is already here, its a storm we need to ride out and steal a few points like the one we got last night.

No doubt about it NW , a tough run of games coming thick and fast and we’re down to the marrow nevermind the bare bones, and I still feel some of the others are nowhere near the level they should be at and it’s costing us.
May be seeing a couple of the young lads sooner than we think but then again it would be classic Leeds to go and win a few of these next games when we seem to be down and out .

Re: Suspensions & injuries
Assuming a 6 year average of 75 points is enough to get into 6th place, we have 17 matches left to get 31+ points.
That's an average of 1.8 points per match, as was our target at the start of the season (win at home, draw away).
Don't believe we'll be anywhere near that, but shows how poor the league is this year that even with our results to date, our pre-season target is still enough to get near the play-off's...!!!

Ankle injury. Out for next game at present.

Thanks. It seemed an innocuous "coming together" with Sol Bamba at the time. I'd like to see it again and see if there was any malice in it.Gilford_NI_Whites wrote:Sniffer wrote:Any news on Pontus' injury?

From what I saw and the folk around me it looked like Sol lashed out at him , I personally thought Sol swung his arm at PJ , he certainly ran three quarters of the pitch to leave the scene of the crime .Sniffer wrote:Thanks. Blige. Really. The link only showed a stumble between the two of them and Pontus falling to ground.saintjimmy wrote:From what I saw and the folk around me it looked like Sol lashed out at him , I personally thought Sol swung his arm at PJ , he certainly ran three quarters of the pitch to leave the scene of the crime .Sniffer wrote:Thanks.
