Not all of them but some were for instance John Charles 1955/66 were and he repeated it the following year in the top flight, lets hope Ross does the same.

I have always said that you can't compare different era's. There are too many variables ie fitness, squad's, formations, tackling, equipment, quality of pitches etc., etc., I do sympathise though with the lone striker in the modern game. In the old days there were five up front!

There's a gulf to Chapman let alone Lorimer, Clark and Charles, whatever the stats say. Great season so far though.
A lone striker would be a great asset
