I think he might get sold in the summer for big numbers, financing 2-3 quality championship players. Then we must keep Pablo, he is more important to us than Saiz imo.

Agreed, Saiz is a luxury we can’t afford. He’s too good for our current team.

Best attacking player we have by a mile and if the owners want us in the premier league he has to stay and build a forward line arround him.. If they dont want promotion yes might as well sell him and pontus as well and we can carry on pretending we are a big team..

I would still get shot for the spitting thing ..

I really bear grudges, I know, but it's how I feel about the guy.

Everybody in life deserves a second chance. Another time and yes I would want to get rid of him, as really do not like that kind of behaviour.

Now that's an interesting question.

Personally, my (admittedly strict) moral code doesn't allow it for major offences and I consider spitting at someone deliberately not to be a mistake (see the Aussie ball-tampering) but a conscious act.

If someone cheats on me, we're done because I don't do that myself.
If someone does me a serious wrong, we're done.
If someone steals from me, we're done.

I don't think everyone does deserve a second chance.
You get one shot at life and you know what's right and what's wrong.
My code is always give everyone a chance, don't prejudge, respect everyone and treat them like you want to be treated.

If they don't respect me in the same way then I move on.

Rigger, that was SO me 10-15 years ago. and to a certain extent it still is. Serious crimes no second chances, but lifestyle, attitude things CAN be changed, believe me I know. Some seriously troubled kids I "knew when I was working 20 odd years ago have turned their lives around and are a credit to the community ..... most of them needed a second chance.

From society, yes.

That's fine. I understand rehabilitation can be achieved.
But sometimes it can't.

From me ? No.

Fair enough but re spitting at another player in a football match, whilst I seriously hate that kind of behaviour (and indeed in my day even your own team would have gone through you if you did that) a second chance but no more (now I'm assuming he shows genuine remorse for his really unacceptable behaviour).

anyhow.

Are you sure you are not me in an earlier manifestation lol. I'd have said rehabilitation NEVER works and to be honest I'm still doubtful in most cases, just I've seen it work in one or two. I do hold to your rules though.
