Seems the WBA link for Pontus is false:-

Good news if true, but honestly, this article. I mean, this is not journalism: "The Swedish defender didn’t play well last season but is expected to have a better campaign this coming year so to lose him would have been a kick in the teeth."

Marcus Antonsson is reportedly about to join Malmo.

Bielsa has said that he likes Ideguchi, AFAIK.

Interesting, if he is to play his favoured formation of 3-1-3-3 then would he possibly fit in as the DM? I'm not sure MB will play this formation as we have far too many CM's vying for 2 spots.

I think it'll be a more basic system than that, given the division we're in and the players he's dealing with.
He's played with a back four before so I wouldn't be surprised if it's a 451 in defence and a fluid 433 in attack.

I'm growing concerned with the players we are now being linked with. It started with Hernandez and Vydra, then Hugill and now back to Jerry Mbakagu...

It seems we can't secure the terms for our top targets. I dont want us to bite off more than we can chew, in terms of wages, nor do we want to be held to ransom, by other financial incentives. But surely Leeds would realise the amount required before approaching the likes of Vydra.

If Biesla was expecting this type of player to join, and even for the right reasons, we are unable to sign this level of player, then where does it leave us?

Leeds needs to give him the tools to do the job, and soon.

Blimey! If he was that cheap I'd have bought him for Leeds myself.
