Claims are growing in the Netherlands that Vurnon Anita is in the country and very close to signing for Willem II.
News outlet NOS earlier said that Anita is on the verge of signing.
Now newspaper BD, who are local to Willem, report the player is currently undergoing a medical...

According to Wiki he's already on loan to us.SCOTTISH LEEDS wrote:Izzy Brown arrives for talks:-

Plays in the Saiz position, apparently.
Might have to take an interest in the Premier League now....

Not seen a great deal of him but he looked very good when I did. Can he play out wide? Could possibly see Hernandez, Saiz and Izzy behind Roofe

He’s a 10 strong lad with a goal in him.... I really like him... looked great at Rotherham been injured.. That said yes u could argue Saiz. Roofe, Bamford, Hernadez, Forshaw and Baker can play in his position !sgt_pooly wrote:Not seen a great deal of him but he looked very good when I did. Can he play out wide? Obvious weakness in the squad are at centre back, holding midfield & an out and out winger. Time will tell but I feel Baker & maybe Brown May be this years Matt grimes.
For all the talk of us making a step change in the quality of our signings, I only expect 2 of them to feature as first choice players. I just don’t feel we have done enough this window, to capitalise on what could be a golden opportunity.

I'm of a similar thinking. If we'd have invested 20m or so, we could of walked the league imo. With the current squad, I'm not so sure.

Brown is considered a versatile attacker, who can play as an attacking midfielder, winger or striker.
Re: 2018/19 Transfer Rumours and Squad Discussions
We have done well to get Brown.
Very good player, powerful quick and always looking to get involved..........behind Mooy, he was udds best palyer promotion season IMO.
As long as he is fit, I dont mind loans coming in of this quality.
