Looks a decent player and would add quality to the side, however these recent stats tell me its the other end we should be looking at.

Villa had 2 shots on target and scored 2goals
Blackburn had 2 shots on target and scored 2 goals
Hull has 3 shots on target and scored 2 goals
Forrest had 6 shots on target and scored 4 goals

that's 13 shots on target and 10 goals scored

Very poor when you consider how many attempts we need to score more than 1 goal in a game.

Goalkeeping position needed to be sorted since Green left but the problem was kicked down the road in the hope that BPF would improve and provide a cheap alternative. Blackman was a waste of a shirt, keeping one of our own players out of the U23's.

All of our transfer business has been more than questionable yet again.

Club needs to stand up and be counted now with a couple of signings

For the record our stats same games were 31 shots on target 8 goals

Shows how we're not ruthless enough in front of goal. Only really Bamford and Clarke are clinical enough and take their chances.

Now maybe I'm understanding why Bielsa is saying that he doesn't have to add to the defence, if our goals to shots on target were anything like our last four opponents, we could of won them all by a distance.

Now maybe I'm understanding why Bielsa is saying that he doesn't have to add to the defence, if our goals to shots on target were anything like our last four opponents, we could of won them all by a distance.

Havent seen all the games but maybe the quality of shots are not so good? Bielsa might be instructing them to take shot any time they can.

The bottom line is, we're doing brilliantly and anything we try now will give us - hopefully - a marginal gain that may or may not take us back to the promised land.

I'm happy to completely trust Bielsa's judgement now despite having reservations earlier in the season, mainly based on the way his previous teams have burned up after Xmas and his time at my French club, LOSC.
He's convinced me he's the man to take us up and the way the likes of Shackleton and Clarke have performed, not to mention Halme and Davies, proves he has an eye for a player and the attention to detail that's required.

If we sign nobody at all, I'll be happy because I know Marcelo will be too.
