Leeds have never been in for Maddison.

Speaking to somebody slightly in the know....we're skint. Viera has balanced the books and there won't be an substantial amounts (or possibly any amount) spent.

This was not the situation I thought we were in, it's a bit worrying.

How is it worrying?

The books are balanced, we have a manager with a vision, the team are playing well.

We have some great young talent coming through.

And Bielsa's tactics are ADDING value to every player we have.

All of a sudden they look like world beaters.

Also, think of the money we'll get from the new SkySports Leeds channel.
It's bound to be unveiled soon enough, given how often they have us on ..

The sky money in the Championship is pennies compared to the Prem. I think it's around 50-70k a game.

But I like to think of it as a season-long trailer for next year when we get back in the big money division :

Stoke will want him off the wage bill or reduce it, pay him 25k with a deal if we get to the premiership

Phil Hay has said that Bielsa is prioritising a striker and would like a midfielder. He's apparently not concerned about a centre half!
