I had the pleasure of meeting him several times as he was a regular customer when I worked at Thornton sports on King Edward street, a very smart & friendly man.

I was 'umming and aahing' about going but I'm glad I did, it was a lovely occasion and a very warm and respectful farewell to a true Leeds United hero. I honestly believe we would not have had Super Leeds without Bobby's influence when Don Revie signed him, we would have stayed in Div 2 and may never have got out. Just my view, not making a debate :D
